Ida Keeling a 100 year old woman from Philadelphia Pennsylvania broke the 100 meter dash this past Saturday.
When interviewed after the race she had this to say :
“I’m very happy to offer all of this crowd a nice example of what you can do for yourself, and I thank God every day for my blessings,”
She is a true example of not using age as an excuse but using it to continue to teach and inspire.
Keeling had some words of wisdom for the group .. “Love yourself. Do what you have to do, not what you want to do. Eat for nutrition and not for taste. And exercise at least once a day.”
If you do this you too can be sprinting at 100 (almost 101) years old ….
