It is in the infamous and usually dreaded first date.
What should I wear?
Where are we going?
How should I act?
Should I pre-eat, pre-drink etc….?
Here are just a few questions that run through our head before the date has even begun, so you can only imagine how perplexed we are before even sitting down for the actual date itself.
Here are 5 tips that you can keep in your iPhone notes, so that you can alleviate some of that pre-date stress!
#1 Pre-Eat
This will allow you to eat healthy and not be starving when you arrive looking ravishing for your guy/girl. It will prevent over-eating as well. Once you get to the restaurant you can share some appetizers and niblets which is more exciting and romantic too!
#2 Eat a steak, poultry, or fish (i.e. something hearty)
but instead of the potatoes or rice order steamed veggies with it. This way your man/lady will be turned on by the fact that you actually eat, and even better you will feel satisfied and feel great but not bloated and extremely full from eating the filling side dishes.
#3 Order a Salad
I am not talking about a ridiculous side salad with no dressing and a water. As a woman you look ridiculous and obsessive ordering this way and as a man us women like to see our men eat! Salads are great, but get one with substance; lots of vegetables, some protein, and some avocado or nuts as well. Then order a side of some yummy olive oil and balsamic to top it off. This will show your significant other that you are health conscious but not anorexic!
#4 Eat Slowly and Dignified
This is not a race to the finish (unless it’s a really bad date) and in that case just say you would like your food to go! Eat slowly and enjoy the atmosphere and conversation. This way your food will start to digest and you will feel fuller faster! * If you reference back to tip #1 this will be much easier as well.
#5 For Every Cocktail Have a Glass of Water
For every drink that you consume make sure you have at least 1 to 2 glasses of water, before ordering another one. Never bypass the two drink maximum first date rule either! You don’t want your date to think that you are a complete lush! With a two drink max you will be feeling more comfortable and relaxed but not sloppy! Also, you will feel great in the morning.
