It is definitely hot pant season.. and with so many cute skinny jeans, leggings, and workout pants your booty has to look in tip-top shape…. or the pants will not accentuate the assets!
Working out and a healthy diet is defiantly the key to a what I like to call “Booty in a Box” it is so perfect it fits right into a nice little box with a bow on top…
Now how can we make our butts the best in the biz?
Here are four simple workout moves to keep your booty on the up and up; literally!
# 1 Walking Lunges:
Lunges are great for working the butt, hamstrings, and quadriceps.
The best part is you can do them just about anywhere too. Here is the proper lunge technique:
Stand up straight and take a deep breath in.
Lunge forward with a step slightly bigger than a normal step and lower yourself down by tensing your hamstrings and butt muscles.
Lower your back knee until it is kissing the ground. This knee should be about two or three inches behind your leading foot which you lunged with and make sure your knee is not extending over the front of your toes.
Stand back up slowly and repeat with the other leg.
#2 Kettlebell Swings:
These are actually an overall tremendous piece of equipment. They really work the core, legs, arms, and glutes so it’s a four in one. Swing the bell toward the back of your body and then thrust your hips and thighs forward while swinging your arms in front. Have a slight bend in your knee when you bring it back toward the ground and repeat.
A great workout is “Tabata” Kettlebell Swings.
#3 Chair pose
Begin standing with your feet together. Bend your knees and drop your hips, brining your weight into your heels. Drop your tailbone, firm your front ribs in and lift your arms up shoulder-width apart. Keep your shoulders relaxed in their sockets, and rotate the outer edges of your arms inward to broaden your upper back. Gaze upwards. Hold for eight breaths.
#4 Sprinting:
Go to your local track it is fun, a fantastic workout, and you don’t need a gym membership to participate! Sprinting Will Develop this Area Without Bulking Up and it is a great way to create muscle strength and definition in the legs and glutes. The glutes are the largest muscle in the body. It takes more of an explosive movement to really contract this muscle hard, and sprinting is the perfect subscription for maintaining and building a beautiful derriere!
